How Bands decide how they name themselves...
Silly, but interesting... have a look at this: Bandnames and their meaning
Summer is still not here :-(

I still wait for the summer... So I rented some videos to catch up with movies i missed when they played at the cinema. The day before yesterday I saw "Sexy Beast". Really cool movie with Ben Kingsley as a ganster boss. Really liked that flick!

Then I also saw "Along came Polly". Was ok, but nothing special. Good evening-just-before-going-to-bed entertainement. Although my g/f liked it a lot.

I also saw "Once Upon A Time in Mexico". THAT'S my kind of movie! Always liked Rodriguez and his style (not only because he has the same name as I ;-) ). He really gets the most out of litteraly nothing. And cool playing by Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas.

Speaking of Johnny Depp, I also saw "Don Juan de Marco". Not because of Johnny Depp but in honour of Marlon Brando (I wasn't really surprised when I heard from his death but shocked nevertheless). I love this kind of storytelling. Reminded me a lot of "Big Fish", another cool movie.

I also saw once again "Ocean's Eleven". I love it when a plan works out just fine ;-)

Then I saw "Final Destination 2". Saw the first one and the making-of of the second one. Think the second one is much funnier. A good laugh!

When I saw "3000 Miles to Graceland" I was surprised by the performance of Kevin Costner. He's really not one of my favorite actors and also the movie wasn't that great. But the camera-work and the editing were top!

"Riding in Cars with Boys" was the last movie I saw. I have kind of a thing for Drew Barrymore (don't laugh now...). Was really surprised when I saw that Danny DeVito produced this movie. Usually almost every movie with Drew Barrymore is produced by herself. The movie was ok. Had some boring parts but once again it was this great storytelling as in "Big Fish" or "Don Juan de Marco".

Ok, enough for the moment. Maybe more on movies later...

Have been at the Open Air St. Gallen. Was ok, but not really special. My favorite acts were Matt Cantor (Freestylers), Groove Armada, Faithless and Kaizers Orchestra. I even got an Interview with Groove Armada and talked a bit to Matt Cantor.
I also will post an Interview i'm going to do with the Plump DJs in August. :-)
